A Bachelor of Education is an undergraduate academic degree which qualifies the graduate as a teacher in schools. B.Ed is a course offered for those interested in pursing career in teaching. The B.Ed degree is mandatory for teaching in higher primary schools and high schools.

 

The minimum qualification required for entry into B.Ed course is Bachelor of Arts(B.A),Bachelor of Science (B.Sc)or Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com). While students from arts stream are trained to teach subjects like history, civics, geography and languages. The students from science stream are trained to teach mathematics, physics, chemistry and biology. 

 

 

Eligibility for Singhania University B.Ed Admission 2014-15

Candidates with at least 45% marks either in the Bachelor Degree and /or in the Master's Degree.

The Colleges offers One Year Secondary Teacher Education Programme known as B.Ed.
